HELPING PARENTS RAISE CHILDREN WITH DIFFERENCES

Parenting doesn't come with an instruction manual. Certainly if your child is at all "different," parenting can be even more challenging. You may be feeling worried, alone and sad. You might be thinking that your child will not be able to go to college or live independently. All of this worry and heartache may be affecting your relationship with your spouse, your bond with your children and your enjoyment of your life in general.

I am here to help committed yet confused parents raise their anxious, depressed or acting out kids or teens. It is not easy to raise kids today. I am passionate about helping you through the bumps in the road. We all have them. I have been successful in helping many parents to resolve the problems that are causing them distress and to have more peace and acceptance in their families. I would like to educate you about your child's differences, teach you to advocate for him, help you manage his feelings or behaviors, and help you feel better about parenting and all areas of your life.

My name is Cindy Linde, and I have spent the last 20 years helping parents like you to understand your child, to embrace his strengths as well as his differences and to alleviate your worries and pain. I have extensive experience helping parents and their children/teenagers deal with depression, anxiety, irritability, poor judgment, learning and/or attention issues, social stress, loneliness and behavioral challenges.  I have a broad range of experience and training in outpatient mental health clinics, inpatient psychiatric hospitals and neuropsychological facilities. This knowledge distinguishes me as a psychologist who understands how these issues interact to affect you, your child and your family.  I look forward to hearing your story and to helping you through this journey.
